ACT Refresher Class
Thu, 01/14/2010 - 10:01pm — Jackie FruthCrawford College Connection is sponsoring an ACT refresher class April 5 through April 8 at the Bucyrus Public Library. Instruction will be provided on a different subject each day. Students may enroll for the entire week or for a specific subject. Enrollment is limited to 25 students per subject. Applications are available at all Crawford County High Schools. Registration deadline is March 24.

Sat, 02/20/2010 - 10:51am — Jackie FruthThe registration deadline for the April 10 ACT was March 5. If you have not registered for the April test but would like to take it, you will have to pay an additional $21 late fee and register by March 19. You may send in your registration packet or register online at http://www.actstudent.org. The basic registration fees are $32 for the ACT(no writing) and $47 for the ACT plus writing.

Preparing for the ACT
Sat, 09/19/2009 - 10:43am — Jackie Fruth- Pick up the free student preparation booklet with your registration packet from the guidance office. It contains test information, complete practice tests with scoring keys, and a writing prompt with sample essays.
- Check out an ACT prep book from your school or local library. A good book to use is The Real ACT Prep Guide. It comes with three retired practice tests, detailed answers to each question, and scoring guides for each test.
