Criteria:

  • Applicant must live in Ashland, Crawford, Huron, Knox, Marion, Morrow, Richland, Seneca or Wyandot County.
  • Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited technical school, college, or university.
  • Applicant must be enrolled in a course of study and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree that would benefit the field of aging (including, but not limited to Nursing, Social Work, Human Services, Biology, Pharmacy, Psychology, Psychiatry, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics or other field as deemed appropriate by the Scholarship Selection Committee).
  • Applicant must have at least a sophomore status at the beginning of the 2016/2017 academic year.
  • Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA.
  • Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. employees and their family members are eligible to apply, but are not given preference.
  • Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. Board of Trustees members are not eligible to receive the scholarship.
