Criteria:

  • Ohio resident
  • Incoming freshman student accepted to BGSU
  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 high school GPA
  • Recommended minimum composite score of 23 on the ACT
  • Interest in teaching science and/or mathematics in any of the grades 4 through 12

Amount: nearly $20,000 in funding plus innovative experiences throughout their 4 years to prepare them to be exceptional teachers
Number Awarded:
Renewable: Amount of $20,000(max) is distributed over the four years; An additional scholarship of up to $10,000 per year for four years will be awarded to an incoming ACTION student with significant financial need.
