- Must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. education institution(kindergarten through graduate school)
- Must have demonstrated on-going commitment to your community by performing unpaid volunteer services impacting hunger in the U.S. at least within the last 12 months; Added consideration is given to students working to fight childhood hunger.
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
- Volunteer service must be helping non-family members
- Multiple applications of the same student will not be accepted(only first application)
- 2012 Application Period: October 5 - December 5, 2011
Amount: National Award Winners $5,000 scholarship and a $5,000 grant for hunger-related charity
Number Awarded: Up to 5 national winners; Up to 20 regional winners will be awarded $1,000 grants for their charity
