Criteria:

• Must be in your final year of high school/secondary school
• Must be a dependent child(biological, step, or legally adopted) of a regular full time, retired or deceased employee of the Timken Company who has a minimum of three years employment with the company as of the application deadline
• Must enroll in full time undergraduate study at an accredited college or university for the entire 2012-2013 academic year with the intent of earning a bachelor's degree or the equivalent
• Children of Officers or Members of the Board of Directors of Timken Company or the Timken Company Charitable Educational Fund, Inc. are not eligible
• Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals, and the Applicant Appraisal
• Preference for the $10,000 and $5,000 awards will be given to students enrolling in science, technology, engineering and mathematical fields.

Amount: Range from $5,000 - $50,000
Number Awarded: 38 (maximum)
Renewable: Top eight winners
