- Must be a Preferred Member of UPI or a child of a Preferred Member
- Must be a graduating high school senior enrolled in a college or technical school, studying an agriculture-related field
- Selection will be based on applicant's background in agriculture, community involvement, and response to the given essay prompt "Why I want a career in agriculture."
Amount: $1,000
Number Awarded: 32; two scholarships per UPI district; For each UPI district one scholarship will be available to a graduating high school senior and one scholarship will be available to a student attending a college or technical school. Previous UPI scholarship winners are not eligible to win another scholarship.
